Altec pride themselves on providing equipment that helps you get your job done, and are widely used for electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, construction, lighting, sign installation amongst others. Altec digger derricks are designed to streamline the process of replacing poles for electrical and telephone lines. One machine will lift and remove the old pole, bore the new hole, lift and set the new pole and then provide access to dress the pole.
All Altec platforms have been built to meet all applicable ANSI standards and have subsequently been CE-marked and VCA-approved for sale in the UK.
AT33GS2 - AT/ARTICULATED TELESCOPIC RANGE
Mounted on a 5-18t GVW chassis cab. Telescopic main boom and 2-man GRP work basket. Can be offered with or without a materials handling jib. Full pressure hydraulic controls to basket and pedestal and a hydraulic tool outlet.

TA ARTICULATED/ TELESCOPIC RANGE
These heavy-duty booms are mounted on a 12t-18t GVW chassis. They consist of an articulating lower boom, telescopic upper boom and a 2-man GRP work basket. Full pressure hydraulic controls to basket and pedestal and a hydraulic tool outlet. Most can be fitted with material handling jib and winch.

OVER-CENTRE RANGE
These heavy-duty booms are mounted on a 11t-18t GVW chassis. They consist of 2 articulating booms stacked on top of each other, or side by side. This range allows under and up operation. Full pressure hydraulic controls to basket and pedestal and a hydraulic tool outlet, material handling jib and winch.

DIGGER DERRICK
Altec have three models of digger derricks, dependent on application:
- Backyard derricks – the staple of urban development, offers excellent capacity while fitting through a standard garden gate.
- Distribution derricks – ideal for utility and telecommunications, offer a variety of sheave heights and capacities.
- Transmission derricks – the largest range, these offer best-in-class safety, productivity and reliability.
