Aldercote was founded in 1999 by Directors David and Paul Dillon, initially revolving around Specialist Vehicle Engineering and the manufacture of aircraft de-icers and washers. Since then, we’ve seen a massive expansion and development of many new vehicle mounted access products.
2003 Thanks to our years of experience with other Access Platform companies, we were soon approached to design and manufacture a new reliable and robust Van-Mounted Access Platform for Hitachi Capital. The PA128 was launched.
2004 The site was extended and a new workshop was completed giving us a new facility
2009 Aldercote purchased GRP Composite moulding company, Magglo Composites, and began manufacturing Fibreglass products. This year also saw the launch of the 16.5m Van Mounted Platform.
2013 Marc Paish joined the board as Development Director and share holder.
2015 We Manufactured Insulated Boom machine for National Grid using our E-drive system.
2017 We launched the CZ and CZX ranges.
2018 Aldercote to Concentrate on Vehicle mounted access platform business.
2019 After Covid 19 hit the world, and supply was affected, we completed a lot of development projects, One being our E-drive system which first unit made in 2015. The launch of Edrive into our Van mounted Range.
2021 In May we invested and took control of one of our Fabrication supplier. Now with control, we moved Craven Fabrications into a new larger premises.
2021 We purchased a new site to move our composite manufacturing division into.
2022 We have Submitted planning for another Manufacturing unit onsite.
