A landmark year of innovation, partnership and growth
As we close out 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what has unquestionably been Aldercote’s most defining year to date. It’s been a year where innovation has accelerated, our national support network has grown stronger than ever, and our partnerships, both with customers and within our own team have continued to deepen.
But if there’s one moment that truly captured the spirit of this year, it was seeing our Jackless Transit system crowned IPAF “Product of the Year” at the 2025 IAPAs. This recognition isn’t just a trophy on the shelf, it represents years of engineering commitment, and it’s now fully embedded into our latest VZ 140 Neo platform.
Raising the bar: the VZ 140 Neo
The VZ 140 Neo has rapidly become one of the standout performers in our range. Offering over 640kg plus 2 operators it’s redefining what operators can expect from a van-mounted platform.
We’ve always been a little sceptical about jack-less machines, but with our recent control enhancements: slew and roll sensitive outreach, it’s amazing how far the 140 Neo will reach. Add our Elevated Protection suite (HOLD, RECOIL and SHIELD), and the Neo gives operators not just improved capability, but greater confidence at height. This year we also invested in the development of our next-generation fibreglass boom technology, which will mark a major advancement in electrical safety when it reaches rollout.
Strengthening our nationwide support
Another major milestone has been the continued expansion of our growing network of accredited service partners. Their on-the-ground expertise, combined with our real-time diagnostics capability, means our customers receive faster support, reduced downtime and a truly national service experience. With demand rising, this network will continue to expand in 2026.
Partnerships that drive progress
Our growth has always been built on long-term, collaborative relationships. This year, our work with ESB, UK Tool Hire and other key partners has continued to evolve, with significant fleet activity and joint development projects shaping the future of our platforms.
Investing in our people
I’m equally proud of what’s been happening inside Aldercote. We’ve continued to grow the team, including welcoming a new Designer to support our expanding pipeline of innovations. Our people are the driving force behind our success, and it’s been inspiring to see our team develop, collaborate and push boundaries every single day.
Looking ahead
With award-winning products, major innovations nearing release, an expanding support network and a growing, talented team, we’re heading into the new year with real momentum.
2025 has been a game-changer for Aldercote. Our achievements reflect the dedication of our employees, the trust of our customers, and the strength of our partners. And while I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, I’m even more excited about what’s next.
