Special Vehicle Engineering

Aldercote was founded in 1999 by Directors David and Paul, initially revolving around Specialist Vehicle Engineering and the manufacture of aircraft de-icers and washers. Since then, we’ve seen a massive expansion and development of many new products.

2003 Aldercote acquired a commercial bodybuilders and added a range of standard commercial vehicle bodywork, to include curtainsider, tipper and box bodies. Thanks to our years of experience with other Access Platform companies, we were soon approached to design and manufacture a new reliable and robust Van-Mounted Access Platform.

2004 The site was extended and a new workshop was completed giving us a new facility including a 40 foot spray bake oven. This allowed us to move our Commercial Vehicle Coachbuilding business onto the same site.

2006 We opened the Aldercote Commercial Vehicle Servicing Centre giving customers a one stop shop, in the same year as launching three new platform models.

2008 Designed and built our first Mining Support Lube Truck onto a MAN Chassis

2009 Aldercote purchased GRP Composite moulding company, Magglo, and began manufacturing Fibreglass products. This year also saw the launch of the 16.5m Van Mounted Platform.

2010 Acquired the designs and trade names of LubeMaster and FuelMaster from Humphrey Mining Products.

2013 Marc Paish joined as Development Director.

2015 We launched the new V and VZ ranges and appointed IAPS Group as our UK Dealer for our range of platforms.

2017 We will launch the NEW CZ and CZX ranges.

We are looking to appoint a Worldwide Dealer. If you are interested, please visit our Dealer page.
