Aldercote Special Vehicle Engineering

Our Company was founded in 1999 and initially revolved around commercial vehicle bodywork and hydraulic repairs.

The company soon expanded and purchased a local commercial bodybuilder company, a h.g.v service & pre m.o.t company and a fibre-glass manufacturing company.

The first route into the access market was the development of an aircraft de-icer unit which is still being sold today. The first van mounted platform was a reliable and robust two boom full hydraulic unit designed for BT line contractors.

We have continually improved our platforms to include lighter structures, space saving internal columns, hydraulic levelling as standard, and off the shelf components.

Our range of platforms now includes nine standard models and we undertake specialist vehicle conversions. The company now operates from a purpose built two acre site with: production facility, general offices, body shop, 40 ft paint booth and a secure vehicle lock up area allows us to provide customers with a one stop shop.
